4.1 Ballistic Transparency
Original OEM glass will be removed and replaced with tinted, curved, ballistic glass in the following areas:
4.1.1 Driver door window, operable window, allowing for upward and downward urethaned to the lower edge of the Ballistic transparency.
Roof area – Overlaid with customized fabric components
Note: The roof area of the vehicle will provide protection from the projectiles specified in Section 2 at impacts of less than 45 degrees.
4.4 Floor and wall Blast Protection
Armet’s THIKA MINEPLATE blast protection exceeds the requirement of NATO STANAG regulation Stanag regulation 4569 level 1.

Standard civilian armored vehicles are often required to defeat the blast of two German DM51 or two US M67 anti-personnel grenades. THIKA MINEPLATE easily defeats both of these devices and was certified by the US military at TACOM on October 31, 2000 to defeat the M67 grenade.
